Introducing the City Hall Conservatives
Holding the Mayor to account, representing you and standing up for London.
This week we officially became the City Hall Conservatives, our new name for 2023 and beyond. We will continue to stand up for London and hold the Mayor of London to account.
Our social media handles are now:
Facebook, Instagram, YouTube: @CityHallConservatives
And our website is now: cityhallconservatives.com.
At Thursday’s plenary meeting, although the Mayor chose not to attend, our Assembly Members scrutinised the Mayor’s fire strategy, questioning the London Fire Brigade Commissioner and the Deputy Mayor.
Conservative Members proposed several motions which were both unanimously passed by the London Assembly.
The Assembly demanded that the Mayor and his night czar do more to keep Londoners safe at night, following the tragic crowd crush in Brixton in December.
They also called on the Mayor to aid relief efforts to Turkey and Syria in response to the devastating earthquake that claimed thousands of lives this week.
Conservative Members Emma Best and Shaun Bailey proposed the motions, full videos of their speeches can be found on our Twitter page.
