It was Mayor’s Questions this week, where we asked the Mayor how he would score his last year out of 10. Well, despite us repeatedly pointing out how it deserves to be almost 0, apparently the Government thinks otherwise and has given him a peerage! Are we living on the same planet?
LORD BAILEY EXPOSES KHAN’S TRANSPARENCY TRICK
The Mayor has promised to be “the most transparent Mayor” of London by publishing his diary. Except… he hasn’t. Lord Bailey took him to task for saying one thing and doing another, and Sadiq didn’t like it one bit. Watch the heated exchange to find out what happened:

We were all gutted when England went out of the World Cup on Wednesday, but if England fans had run riot through the streets, the Mayor would have said something on social media condemning it. So why hasn’t he condemned other fans doing similar? Susan Hall AM called him out on how quickly he is prepared to tweet and criticise on some issues but not others…
ALESSANDRO GEORGIOU HITS KHAN’S HYPOCRISY
It’s the same old story with those who want to lecture us about the climate: “do as I say, not as I do.” Sadiq Khan likes to lecture us about how we should be reducing our carbon emissions, and how he is the greenest Mayor of London - except that his air miles are the equivalent to spending 8 whole days in the air. Alessandro Georgiou AM decided to take aim at this hypocrisy - and he certainly didn’t miss.

Sir Keir Starmer said he wouldn’t have any resignation honours, but it looks like that’s just another u-turn we should have expected. Sir Sadiq Khan is to become Lord Khan, giving him a whole host of new jobs and responsibilities to mess up. But how times change - back in 2022, Sir Sadiq seemed to think that the House of Lords should be abolished; what’s changed Lord Khan’s mind?
